Welcome to Turkey Coach Tours, a brand of TAKK Travel (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website, booking a tour, or utilizing any of our services, you (“the Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with Turkey Coach Tours and form a legally binding agreement between you and us.
1. Booking and Confirmation
Booking Request: All tour bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Turkey Coach Tours. A booking request is made when you submit your booking details via our website, email, or phone.
Deposit and Full Payment: To confirm a booking, a non-refundable deposit 20% of the total tour price per person is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance of the tour price must be paid no later than 60 days prior to the tour departure date. If the booking is made within 60 days of the departure date, the full tour price is due at the time of booking.
Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), bank transfer. All payments are processed in USD, EUR.
Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only when Turkey Coach Tours issues a written confirmation email or invoice. This confirmation will include your itinerary, payment details, and other relevant information. Until a confirmation is issued, no contract exists between you and Turkey Coach Tours.
Price Changes: All prices are subject to change until a booking is confirmed. Once confirmed, the price of your tour will not change unless there are significant increases in government taxes, fees, or vendor costs outside our control, or if you request changes to your booking.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation by the Customer:
Cancellations must be made in writing (email or postal mail) to Turkey Coach Tours. The cancellation date will be the date we receive the written notification.
Cancellation charges will apply as follows:
61 days or more prior to departure: 20% of the total tour price.
31-60 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour price.
0-30 days prior to departure or “No Show”: 100% of the total tour price.
Specific tours, flights, or services may have stricter cancellation policies, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
Cancellation by Turkey Coach Tours:
We reserve the right to cancel any tour prior to departure due to unforeseen circumstances, such as force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, political instability, epidemics), insufficient passenger numbers, or other operational reasons.
In the event of cancellation by us, you will be offered an alternative tour of comparable value or a full refund of all payments made to Turkey Coach Tours. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses you may have incurred as a result of your booking, such as non-refundable flights or visas.
We will notify you of any cancellation as soon as reasonably possible.
3. Changes and Amendments
Changes by the Customer:
Any requests for changes to a confirmed booking must be made in writing.
An amendment fee of Specify amount, change per person may apply, in addition to any charges imposed by airlines, hotels, or other suppliers.
Changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Significant changes may be treated as a cancellation and re-booking, subject to the cancellation policy.
Changes by Turkey Coach Tours:
While we strive to adhere to the published itinerary, we reserve the right to make minor changes to the itinerary, transportation, or accommodation details due to unforeseen circumstances or operational necessities (e.g., road closures, hotel availability, flight schedule changes).
Any significant changes will be communicated to you as soon as possible. If a major change (e.g., change of travel date or a significant reduction in included services) occurs before departure, you will have the option to accept the change, choose an alternative tour, or receive a full refund of monies paid to us.
4. Travel Insurance
Highly Recommended: Travel insurance is highly recommended for all travelers. It should cover trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, evacuation, baggage loss, and other unforeseen events.
Turkey Coach Tours is not responsible for any costs or losses incurred due to the lack of adequate travel insurance.
5. Passports, Visas, and Health Requirements
Responsibility of Traveler: It is solely your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid passport (with sufficient validity, usually 6 months beyond your return date), necessary visas, permits, and comply with all health requirements (e.g., vaccinations, COVID-19 protocols) for entry into Turkey and any transit countries.
Information Provided: While we may provide general information regarding these requirements, it is for guidance only, and you must verify it with the relevant embassies or consulates. Turkey Coach Tours is not liable for any issues arising from your failure to meet these requirements.
6. Health and Fitness
Physical Ability: You must be in good health and physical condition to participate in our tours. Some tours may involve walking, climbing stairs, or other physical activities.
Medical Conditions: Please inform us at the time of booking of any pre-existing medical conditions, disabilities, or special requirements that may affect your ability to participate in the tour. We will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee all requests. We reserve the right to decline a booking if we believe a medical condition may pose a risk to you or other travelers.
7. Conduct and Responsibility
Compliance with Laws: You must comply with the laws, customs, and regulations of Turkey during your tour.
Tour Guide Authority: You must follow the instructions of our tour guides and representatives for your safety and the smooth operation of the tour.
Respectful Behavior: We expect all travelers to behave in a respectful manner towards fellow travelers, guides, local residents, and the environment. We reserve the right to remove any traveler from a tour if their behavior is disruptive, abusive, or endangers others, with no refund.
Damage to Property: You are responsible for any damage you cause to hotels, vehicles, or other property during the tour.
8. Liability
Our Role: Turkey Coach Tours acts as an agent for various third-party suppliers (e.g., hotels, airlines, transportation companies, local guides). We are responsible for making tour arrangements with reasonable care and skill.
Limitation of Liability: Turkey Coach Tours is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or expense whatsoever sustained by you resulting from:
The act or omission of any third-party supplier.
Events of force majeure (as defined in Section 2).
Your own actions or omissions.
Any services not included in your tour package.
Maximum Liability: Our maximum liability for any claim arising from your booking with Turkey Coach Tours is limited to the total amount paid by you for the specific tour package.
Baggage: We are not responsible for loss, damage, or delay to baggage or other property. We recommend adequate travel insurance.
9. Complaints
During the Tour: If you have a complaint during your tour, please immediately inform your tour guide or our local representative so that we can attempt to resolve the issue promptly.
After the Tour: If your complaint cannot be resolved locally, please submit it in writing to Turkey Coach Tours within 10 days of your tour completion date. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
10. Privacy Policy

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey.
Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
12. General Provisions
Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions, together with your booking confirmation and any specific tour itinerary, constitute the entire agreement between you and Turkey Coach Tours.
Updates to Terms: We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be posted on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
