Your exclusive, full-day tour begins with a convenient transfer from your Cappadocia hotel. You will be greeted by your expert local guide, who will bring the region’s fascinating stories to life as you travel between sites in a comfortable, private vehicle.
The first major stop is the remarkable Derinkuyu Underground City. You’ll descend into this massive subterranean city, a marvel of ancient engineering carved by early Christians to escape persecution. After exploring the city’s hidden passages and chambers, you’ll embark on a scenic hike through the stunning Ihlara Valley, a verdant canyon carved by the Melendiz River. During your hike, you will discover ancient rock-cut churches and enjoy the tranquility of nature.

Derinkuyu Underground City: Begin your adventure by descending into one of the largest and deepest underground settlements in Cappadocia. Explore the numerous rooms, tunnels, and living quarters that provided refuge for thousands of people.
Ihlara Valley: Next, you'll travel to the spectacular Ihlara Valley, a deep gorge created by the Melendiz River. Enjoy a scenic hike along the river, surrounded by lush vegetation and towering canyon walls. Along the way, you'll visit several Byzantine-era rock-cut churches.
Selime Monastery: After lunch, visit the Selime Monastery, the largest rock-cut monastery in Cappadocia. This monumental complex features a cathedral, a kitchen, and monks' quarters carved directly into the volcanic rock.
Pigeon Valley: On your way back to your hotel, make a stop at Pigeon Valley for a stunning panoramic view. The valley is famous for its countless pigeon houses carved into the rock formations, which were used for centuries by local farmers.
